Pockets of Green are temporary green spaces activated on sites awaiting redevelopment. They are designed to enhance, enliven and enrich cities undergoing change.
50,000m2
Right now, we estimate there are over 20 development sites awaiting and permit or sitting vacant within the City of Melbourne – and this number is only set to increase as challenging economic conditions impact cities and the property sector.
This equates to over 50,000m2 of under-performing space, or 5 hectares of missed opportunity.
We are a not-for-profit that provides turn-key solutions for owners and developers to activate their sites in a way that complies with planning requirements and unlocks hidden value - including support from Local and State Governments.
